Bridal Bouquets
The Bride’s bouquet is a key part of tradition in a wedding.
Custom dictates that the majority of flowers in the bridal bouquet are white or off-white in colour. There’s no law ‘though that you have to stand by this tradition.
You can be individual and make your own choice of colour.
You may also want to give thought to the scent of the flowers you carry. Co-ordinating colour and scent throughout your scheme can give your wedding a special ambiance to be remembered.
Wedding Cakes
Wedding cakes.
Our wedding cakes can be supplied in various shapes and sizes to suit your requirements. Sugar flowers are our specialty and these can be made to complement your bouquet and co-ordinate with your wedding and bridesmaids’ dresses.
The most popular flowers are roses, lilies and orchids, but any flower can be created, so please ask for your particular favourite. All wedding cakes are covered with marzipan and sugar paste; either white or ivory. Cakes can be produced in fruit, sponge (with or without eggs) and chocolate in an array of shapes and sizes.
Birthday and celebration cakes can be produced in any size, shape or form. Whether it be a normal square or an elaborate model, please don’t be afraid to ask – almost anything can be produced. If you have a particular interest or hobby, or you just can’t live without that favourite teddy, don’t be afraid to mention it as we can incorporate this into your cake design to make the cake unique to you.
With designs varying so much in complexity, it is difficult to be specific about prices. However, you are welcome to come and browse through the portfolio, discuss your ideas and get a quote.
Wedding Favours
Wedding favours are small gifts given as a gesture of appreciation or gratitude to guests from the bride and groom during a wedding ceremony or a wedding reception.
The tradition is very old in many parts of the world and is gaining rapid popularity in Ireland. Gifts can range from a simple presentation of sweets to quite elaborate and personalised items guests would wish to keep for many years to come.
